GORGEOUS TINY CREAM PUFF IS SO SWEET BUT STILL SHY; SEEKS KITTY FRIEND FOR MENTORSHIP
Hello friends! My name is Al. I'm irresistibly adorable!
Now that we've gotten the obvious out of the way, let me talk you into adopting me!
I was found in the great outdoors in Maryland trying to survive with another cat who was very pregnant. We believe she was my mom. She's in a loving King Street Cats foster home now tending to those babies. I'm still a baby myself right now - I was born near the end of summer 2018. It was huge and loud and scary in the great outdoors.
Now that I'm safe and loved here at KSC, my natural sweetness is showing through the shyness I developed out of an abundance of caution when I had to be ready to defend my tiny self outdoors. I am going to become an affectionate purr master once I get a little more confidence, and I know just where you can help me find some of that.
I want a confident kitty mentor! Please, please adopt me with another cat or kitten if you don't already have a willing mentor at home for me. My KSC friends will be happy to make recommendations and introduce you to some of the many deserving cats here who would be well suited to the task.
If you've never had the pleasure of sharing your space with two cats, it's indeed special. It's not "twice the work" but it is twice the love. Same-species companionship is especially important for the well being a very small, young kits like me. We learn everything about cat-ness from our feline friends. Two cats will provide each other with play, exercise, grooming, companionship, behavior moderation and a sense of security when you can't be with us.
A confident kitty friend will show me how nice and safe it is to interact with humans, to explore, to play, and more. This will be extra meaningful since I wasn't found with a full litter - just my mom - so I didn't get to spend time with littermates from whom I would have learned some basic cat skills. Of course I have natural instincts and I know how to do many things without being shown, but I'd thrive by emulating a confident kitty.
As you can see, I couldn't get any cuter. I am a medium haired (this is so attractive - just wait until you see me) little boy with silky fur in a cream color with a snowy white tuxedo and white stripes and swirls in tabby patterns. I have big, bright, curious green eyes and a tiny wet nose through which I use smell to map out my universe.
Would you enjoy watching and helping a tiny ball of sweet fluff blossom into a confident young cat? If so, please come to meet me, and please ask my friends here about a mentor whom you can adopt with me.
It's easy to get started: please send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, tiny Al. I can't wait to go home.
Adorably yours,
Al
