SHY AND CARING YOUNG MOM WITH EXOTIC SILVERY LOOKS SEEKS HER OWN PURRSON TO BABY HER AND BRING OUT HER INNER KITTEN
Hello friends! My name is Ruby. I'm a young girl who's done a wonderful job of raising my litter of kittens here in my King Street Cats foster home. My kittens are named after characters in the Wizard of Oz. I'm hoping that if I click my paws together my own special purrson will come and find me because I know there's no place like a forever home!
I was on my own trying to survive in the great outdoors before I was rescued by King Street Cats. I needed to use my wits and keep my defenses up to survive. I had exceptional mothering skills and was a devoted, interactive mom. Inside I'm still a scared little kitten, and this is where I need your patience and love. I know that I'm safe now but I am still startled by loud, sudden noises or jolts because I mistake these for threats in the wild.
I am a stunning young girl! I have deep, plush short silvery fur and gorgeous green eyes. You'll love petting me - and I love having my hear gently petted and my chin gently scratched. If you approach me calmy and peacefully I will raise my chin up and close my eyes and purr happily while I absorb your gentle affection. When I do this, you can see the adorable snowy white "bow tie" I'm wearing. If you look closely, you'll also see shadows of a tabby pattern with its stripes and swirls beneath my silvery topcoat.
I'd love to be your one and only for now unless you have a quiet, gentle and non-threatening feline friend for me - I need a purrson who understands my need for patience, soft-spoken encouragement, constant encouragement and praise -- and love. I know my inner kitten will blossom if you are this kind of person. I'll do best for now without dogs or young children who are easily excitable or unable to resist approaching me quickly and expecting a puppy-like response. (after all, I am a dignified little lady!)
It's not easy being shy - other cats eagerly greet visitors on adoption days and run and tumble and call attention to themselves. I am a quiet girl whose beauty will be immediateoy obvious if you take the time to know me. It's often the case that the quietest cats who don't attract the attention at larger adoption events become the most cherished and devoted personal companions. That's what I want to be for you.
If you'd like to give me a chance, please send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Ruby. Thank you very much.
Gratefully yours,
Ruby
