TWO ADORABLE, FRIENDLY & LOVABLE YOUNG BROTHERS AWAITING BELLY RUBS
Hello friends! My name is Big M. I'm here with my bonded best friend and brother, Little M. We are a pair of handsome and happy boys who love each other and love our human friends. We love to roll over and show our warm silky bellies because we know what'll happen next: you're going to come over and give us belly rubs!
We think belly rubs are the best thing in the world and we will roll around happily on our backs purring with contentment. Then we'll snuggle and nuzzle you, then each other, and we'll fill the whole space with soft, silky happiness!
We just celebrated our first birthday in September 2018 so we're officially one (1) year old each. We were welcomed into the King Street Cats family from a hoarding situation. We are friendly, open, gentle boys who want nothing more than to be cherished family members. We're naturally drawn to our human friends and dream of a forever home where we can relax and bring you companionship and smiles.
We would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home - probably without young or hyperactive children - where we can explore our surroundings without fear of sudden, unexpected moves or loud noises. We've had our fill of noise and chaos and we're looking forward to the peaceful and calming expanse of our very own home.
My brother Little M relies on me for everything - we're always together. I even have to polish him to make him look more adorable - you can see me doing that in our photo. We play, cuddle, snuggle, exercise, explore and sleep together.
Same-species companionship brings immense benefits to the well-being bonded cats like us. You'll also benefit from not only twice the affection, amusement and enjoyment but also from the comfort in knowing that we take care of each other during the times when you can't be with us.
We're adorable! I'm a classic brown tabby with a silky white tuxedo. I'm dressed in mocha tones with dark chocolate strips and swirls throughout my coat. I have almond-shaped eyes that change from green to gold depending on the lighting. I have a salmon-pink nose with the most delicate chocolate outline. I've got that classic tabby "M" mark on my forehead. Actually, mine looks more like a "W" but that's because I'm "W"onderful!
Little M is a striking salt-and-pepper boy with lovely charcoal tiger stripes. He's also wearing a white tuxedo along with snowy white mittens. He has a snowy white blaze on a his face and a very sweet two-toned nose.
Our well-being is something we ask you to place a high priority on. We are both FIV+ - this means we carry the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.  We almost certainly contracted FIV when an infected cat attacked us while we lived in the hoarding situation.  FIV is spread only from cat to cat through the means of deep bite puncture wounds (not minor scratches).
We are "positively" adoptable, especially as a FIV+ pair, so please keep reading - we'll give you some important information here:
Humans cannot catch FIV
Dogs cannot catch FIV
FIV is not the same as HIV
FIV does not necessarily develop into Feline AIDS
Cats with FIV can live normal life spans
Cats with FIV require the same standard of care that any loving, vigilant cat parent would provide to any cat, specifically we ask that you:
Feed us a high quality diet, preferably consisting of grain-free, high-protein wet food (readily available commercially)
Get to know our moods and behaviors well enough to recognize when something is off-kilter and may require veterinary assistance
Develop and maintain a good working relationship with a veterinarian who is knowledgeable about FIV
That's it! We know you'd do those three things for any feline family member.
Please come to meet us! The KSC staff has fallen in love with us and knows what cherished family members we're going to make. We are ready to love, snuggle and roll over for endless belly rubs!
It's easy to get started: send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for Big M and Little M, the "positively" adoptable bonded brothers. Thank you!
Lovingly yours,
Big M (with my bonded brother Little M)
